Pow-R-Arm 343 Jr.
Took apart Wilton power arm Jr. and destroyed the locking screw and handle assembly part #2010860.
This has turned into one of those projects where the referb is going to be more than a new one.
Anyways I need this part if anyone has it. Called Wilton and they were no help.
Back to the machine shop we go looks like.

This place says they have Wilton parts: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/wilton ... earch-Mike
Whether they really have them or not is another story. I guess you will find out when you call them.

Thanks but everything but the power arm it seems. I have the Wilton sales team contacting the manufacturing plant here in the states but they just don't want to sell you a part it seems.orvet wrote:This place says they have Wilton parts: http://www.ereplacementparts.com/wilton ... earch-Mike

So nice when you can fix something in house. This tooling up project to make knives it turning into an enormous task but I have enjoyed every minute...sort of.

Just one more time, Gary. And why did you decide to take that apart?

It seemed so easy. I wanted to see how it worked. Then the base plate got jammed trying to screw off. Then I forced it. The male threads were buggered. It worked fine. Now it's a mess but ...I know how it works now. Interesting invention.jerryd6818 wrote:Just one more time, Gary. And why did you decide to take that apart?

Now Wilton says the outside body is cast aluminum. I don't think so. I believe it's zinc or pot metal according to my acid test. I messed the body up a little trying to get the guts out the wrong way so I have been in contact with Muggy Weld.

Interesting, just saw this. Check out Monday Night Meatloaf 88. Wish I had seen that before but my threads were buggered so my take down wouldn't have been so easy as his.
