Thanks for the info, I-Man. If you talk to him, pass on my wishes for a speedy recovery.

For sure, for sure, hope to talk to him this weekend and will definitely pass it on. Thanks for the wish and you too Scott. Very good of ya.
Gdogg, condolences on the cousin who passed. Best to you and those missing Lisa.

This knife doesn't make me anymore prepared than I was before the Paris killings, but per Bruce's (Old Hunter) nudging to remember the Boy Scout motto - Always Be Prepared, I have decided to slip this Ulster camp/scout knife, bearing the official BSA logo into my pocket as a constant reminder!!

Thank you Bruce!

Looks very cool Dave, beautiful bone and patina, looks 70 years old, not at all like a 21st century knife. Thumbs up.

Scott, great looking scout,
Ken, really like that Copperlock color and jigging,
Quick, sweet Gambler, sweet EZ,
Gdogg, very cool bone on the small Boker,
Plain D, at a glance that looks 80 years old, but it's a GEC 15 right? Really cool how that one and your 85 in stag on last page look decades old but are so young. Love the look of those two, thanx all for showing all this stuff, great viewing pleasure and always learning something new around here.

Winterizing the spigots. Admiring the plumb red bone on the '75 Stockman. Sun came out today, loving it, using it. Hoping a sunny day to ya.

That's a pretty knife Ivoryman. I prefer square bolsters on stockman knives myself.

I like the teardrop shape on jacks!

Thanks Dave. I wondered who was buying up all those square bolstered Stockmans? Oh, it was Dave. They look great, I have considered many, but rounded have no corners in the pocket and hand, to me it's more comfortable to carry and hold, and they have that old time look, like rounded cars and planes from the thirties and forties that I love. Just my opinion though. I still look at any shaped bolsters, and love to see something different.

In the first place I love opening any package when it contains a knife. Secondly love, love it when the knife is cool, not a buyers remorse or one that wasn't what you thought it would be. Thirdly I LOVE,LOVE, LOVE that rare bird, that exceeds expectations, even better than you thought it would be. That's what we have here. This was a total surprise, didn't know it was coming. Blade Brother Q on the volcano sent Glennstupendous, I mean Glennbad, the Copperlock, I sent him some ivory. He put it in his shop and then he shake it all about. Wallah, look what came out. That's what it's all about. Today there might as well not be another knife in the house because this one has me mind controlled, sucked in, focused, drooling like an idiot, wide eyed and crazed like the weakest addict, on edge, almost slightly sickened and worried, #$*%@_!!, Oh man guys, how the #$%*>! will I ever be able to equal this? Do you realize what this means? My gosh I may never see, other than in pictures, much less own and get in the mail, a cooler knife than this? This might be it for me. Friends, brothers, do you realize what's going on here. This could be it, I may have already reached my pinnacle, might not go up anymore, just down. It could be all down hill from here. It could be over. Forever. This might be as good as it ever gets for me. I can't imagine getting a sweeter knife in the mail. Can hardly comprehend what that means inside? I don't know if I can live like this. Before this I always knew there was a better knife out there, a cooler one coming someday, or something. Now I'm not so sure. This has changed it all. I might have to start looking at life way different.
But seriously folks, judge for yourself, looks perfect. Unbelievable. Thanks Q, thanks Glenn. How can I ever top this? Doubt it. I have a feeling from now on they will all pale for at least a long time. -Sincerely.

Now let me apologize to all. I somehow got two of these, what a drag, the page won't let me delete, cancel, edit out. I even tried to erase the text to spare you the unedited version. No dice. Sorry everyone. Botched an otherwise great knife post. ::shrug::
