Case 75th anniversary
I just purchased a Case lockback pocket folder and wanted to know if I got a good deal. It is stamped 41059 L SSP on one side of the blade and Case XX SS looks nazi with line through it and USA it has cream colored handles and Hastings/Casite on one side and 75th anniversary of auto automation 1912-first auto assembly line on the other any info on this would be greatly appreciated btw it does have the original box and Case paper but it does have a two cracks on the handle comming up from the top rivets on the back. Thanks Mike

Case ss
Hi, Welcome to the site.
Im not the Case expert but the 'lightening' ss was used in the 1980s which is congruent with the 75th anniversary knife i.e. 1987. Not sure what the line is but it may be dots. something like ..ss. That indicates 1987 as the number of dots started at 10 in 1980 and decreased by one for each year of the decade. That's all the info I can provide.

see the case dating system under the research link here and wrcase.com info center and case college for a good intro.

Keep an eye on this auction. The outcome should be very close to the actual value of said knife.
