I've only bought a couple of knives from Greg but both times the customer service has been very satisfactory.

Thanks for questions and comments everyone. I will update the new arrival next week. Anyone with a Queen #41? How are those? That's what I think the Trestle Pines Superior is so if you have one you know what they are like.

Great shot of the pocket passengers Gdogg, love those insights. Nice antler bead on the Buck lanyard, love those. So what is the large shell with the smaller shell cap? Looks more like a container or something, very cool they fit together like that.

Well I better edit this, based on what I just read over in the Outdoorsman thread, gdogg's son killed the buck, so maybe we'll read how it came about over there ::nod:: .

Shoot, I was hoping he saw that deer a walking in the woods and threw that hatchet Last of the Mohicans style and brought him down.

Nice pic.

I am the type of guy that seems to need a tool everyday. The only knife in my bag of tricks that can do that is my Victronix. A good ole' inexpensive Swiss Army knife. but that really doesn't mean much, as I have a knife in every car and every room, ranging from Bowies to toothpicks. So, no matter where I go I have my EDC. LOL. Here is my main EDC, then, depending on if I am wearing tactical gear or a suit, my next two choices.

My $5.00 Harbor Freight special, for when I don't mind getting it ruined while in the field (I do carry a Buck backup to this). This is a surprisingly strong knife.

Finally, if I am wearing a suit or something light weight, I like to carry this Camillus or my little Schrade 219.

At 2-13/16" closed, that little Camillus #21 Pony Jack is perfect for dress up carry. Good choice of a great old brand.

Nice hardware gents - very nice and useful knives.

Humblejoy, welcome to AAPK. That Victorinox SAK you have - is it marked Wenger on the tang? It sure looks like one to me. Both just as good, but I'm curious as to the style of shield. OH

Another Trestle Pines Superior. Ironic name. This one has no deep marks on the blade, but the blade finish is uneven, light grind marks left over most off it, but buffed off in some areas and uneven in those around. And the blade tip rubs on one side, on the liner when closed, because the edge and spine bend off to one side instead of going straight out from tang to tip like any knife should. The blade is not straight. That seems like a significant problem. The edge isn't straight either, turns to one side. Tried to show it, pictures don't catch it, but it's very obvious in your hand. Most if not all my single blade knives do not stray off to one side like that. Other than that everything seems good and solid and like the previous knife but they both have issues. Great finish on the bolsters, wood, pins, transitions, pretty wood, love the grain lines. Reclaimed Ancient Ash wood is very cool. Tough call which to settle for, deep grind marks marring the finish, or a blade that isn't straight? Not a user either, so either way it's a wash. Strange, none of my other Queen's have these issues, but only have a half dozen or so, not a lot of Queen Experience.

As for Greg at TSA knives, he didn't make the knife, although he's selling it. He did give me another to choose from when I was disappointed in the first knife. He sent another knife out immediately. Here are both. Have nothing but good to say about his customer service.
