Here's the little Morseth, that I just bought back from my cousin (who's had it for 20 years). Had to give him $50 for it, tho'. Absolutely no maintenance, and he left it in the sheath all that time, so I had to clean it up extensively. Still got a couple of spots the camera wouldn't show, but I would have to remove some metal to get rid of them.

Those are two mighty fine looking pieces there Ringmaster.
Shame about the Morseth, but you've got her looking dance ready I'd say.
Thanks for sharing those.

I think that is what the Germans use for a gut hook.smiling-knife wrote: What is the purpose of the blade with the unusual tip?s-k
I may be wrong, but I seem to recall that from many years ago.

Thanks s-k, and yes as muskrat amn and orvet added it is a gralloching blade. The moulded tip is designed so as not to open up anything unfortunate when gutting gamesmiling-knife wrote:Great looking knives sunburst and noddy. I quite like that hunter with the corkscrew noddy. I don't have plans for them yet, except for one that will have scales cut off it and one end will go on a Puukko.
When you see old stock like this, it's good to pick up a few. You never know when good quality tapers like these will pop up. The price, from $17 to $21. Hard to beat.

Man this is a great topic, Noddy and Wosey those are fine looking stag pieces you have there, thanks for sharing...
Here is a Northwoods Stag Stockman and 1965-1969 Case XX Stag Bulldog Clasp that I purchased from Bryan. The Stag Clasp is one of the most incredible knives I have had the pleasure of holding and I have accused Bryan of having a time machine...

Could you expect a show in Nashville without music?

What in the heck is the music business thinking about!! Huh!!! Making you sing while knives with your name on them are out there waiting for you to purchase them.
I am going to try to take my son to our first knife show on Saturday, the Fort Myers Florida Knife Club Show. It's about 85 miles one way but it's as close as any have ever been to my house in South Central Florida.
