SCHRADE M2 Pre 1946 Switchblade FOUND Just Sharing
Not posting this to debate about whether or not it was used by a paratrooper on d-day, since it doesn't have a bail etc, but rather because I am so proud to have found it. Functions nicely with great lock up and is super sharp. Almost 5" closed, all original. Just thought you might like to see a fresh find. Sharing, and all that... cheers!

A beautiful knife for sure.
I would be showing that off too.

A forerunner to the M1 Paratrooper's knife (orange with the hook on the rear end). Today, Colonial is still manufacturing the Model 724 in both 440C and 1095 steel. Great knives.

That's a good $250.00 knife if I ever saw one. I wish I had a minty one like that to carry, it is legal to do so in my "neck of the woods".
