Help with a lock back knife?

Hello everyone. I'm new to these forums and kind of old school so I don't know everything there is to know about computers. I have been reading alot of the posts that are on these forums for a couple of months now and think you all are really nice, helpful people. I would like to start collecting more pocket knives and learn more about all the different brands. I have a few that I have picked- up over the years and just put them in my gun cabinet. I don't have pictures of them but, I love to look at the pictures posted on these forums of other's knives, along with the info on them. Some brands that I have are Case, Boker, Schrade, newer made Remington, and a Parker-Edwards single blade lock back with bone handles and a damascus steel blade. Can anyone help with any information on the Parker-Edwards lock back? It's a really great looking knife. About 4 inches closed. Never been sharped or used. I think it's a first cousin to a straight razor because it is really sharp! Thanks for any info about this knife and I look forward to seeing more pictures of everyone's knives.

This is a GUESS without any pictures. There was a 3 3/4" Lockback...model A-405...with what Parker called "sandbar" stag handles, and an Alabama made damascus (pattern welded) blade.......maybe? Or, maybe something else.

EL LOBO, your discription of it is better than mine and seems to nail it. It has Jacksonville AL stamped under Parker-Edwards on the tang. It looks like Damascus steel to me and I was guessing on the handles (being bone). Do you have any other info on your description of it and maybe a rough estimate of value? It's unused, like new but I didn't buy it new. My father-in-law did and gave it to me as a gift. I really can't remember how long I've had it. Thanks for your help with the info. Thats more than I knew about it.

Those knives were made in 1985-86. Since eBay has become so important to knife sales, you might check for closed auctions on Parker-Edwards knives to value it. I would GUESS it might bring about $50-$60 in near mint condition. If it has been used and shows it, much less.
