Vault?
So I hear about patterns going into the vault or residing in the vault but I don't hear about anything coming out of the vault... Is there a specified time or is it whenever Case decides to revive it? Anyone know when the Seahorse Whittler may be coming out?

If you contacted Case, would they be able to give you any info ?

Here is a link to some info: http://www.wrcase.com/special_programs/vault/
Regarding the Case Seahorse: it was in production last year and I think probably still is. I have a seven dot and a six dot seahorse, 2013 and 2014. Based on the fact that you can get new Seahorse knives for $50-$60, I assume that they are still being made.

The above page on Case's website prompted my question as it shows that the Seahorse Whittler went into the vault on 07/01/10. I too thought that they were still being produced, although on a very limited basis... Now I'm not quite sure what to think. ???
I love the Seahorse pattern and am hoping for more offerings from Case very soon.
Thanks for the responses.

I have suspected that Case decided that they were too profitable a pattern to lock up for long. Like you, I love that pattern.

Re: Vault?
I contacted Case. They are still producing the Seahorse. I saw in my latest SHC catalog that they've made one now in a left-handed version. Glad they're still in production. Just have to wait and watch for them as they become available.
