CCC Stag Trapper - Looks Like A Doctor?????

Is this a "trapper"? Sort of looks like a doctor. Want to make sure I have it right. Cannot find the pattern number listed here on AAPK.

I saw this ad as well but not sure Trapper is right.

it does not fit the "trapper" definition no matter who named it. my opinion
all the books call the pattern "slim jack"

At first I thought it resembled a doctors knife but the end bolster made it look like a slim jack. I would have to agree with Johnnie that it doesn't fit any description of a trapper model and does resemble a slim jack.

Howdy,

That pattern can be seen on page 195 of Price's 14th Guide.
As johnnie mentioned, it is referred to as a Slim Jack. I don't think they've been in regular production for a long time. The Parker "Collector's Edition" not withstanding.
