Some of my Case knives

The W.R. Case & Sons Cutlery Company has a very rich history that began in 1889 when William Russell (“W.R.”), Jean, John, and Andrew Case began fashioning their knives and selling them along a wagon trail in upstate New York. The company has produced countless treasures and it continues to do so as one of the most collected brands in the world.

Some of my Case knives

Post by BurkinshawFan »

Hello everyone I'm new to the forum so I'm beginning to post some of my knives. Here are some of my Case knives which are all available for other knives, I love Case knives, but none of these hold any significance to me unlike my Burkinshaw and Western, so I am willing to trade them for other knives I may like better, I like vintage not newer, or possibly sell, thanks. These are the knives I collect in order of preference: Burkinshaw, Western, Kabar, Buck, Case, and Remington.

A nice Case fixed blade, tang indicates it's from 1965-1980.

Old Case I believe it is 1965-1969, but am wondering of a possibility of 1905-1920. Next pic is a close-up of the tang stamp.

Need some help on this one, will include close-ups. I have never seen the tang stamp have these dots on it.

It's a 316-5 SSP but I am having issues identifying the year, I've never seen these dots on the tang of another Case.

Thank you! Do you have any idea about the dots on the tang stamp between Case and XX as well as the one at the end? I've never seen those before.
