Pocket Knife ID

I picked this one up with a few others, it is not marked or stamped anywhere.
I'm hoping someone will recognize it, it is pretty primitive but still solid and all steel and wood.
the wood appears to be Rose Wood and it is 5" closed with a 4" blade, thanks.

Until I'm corrected I'm calling that one an English Jack. I'll also guess it's maker did it by hand and didn't have the capability to stamp a name into the tang. Nice find though and probably a sturdy user if you wanted.

I'd have to agree with Elvis, looks to be home/hand made. Nice looking knife!

I'm trying hard not to like these knives I bought at a large Town-Wide garage show.
This one is just too nice and the more I hold it the better it feels.
Since I don't have a homemade knife yet I guess that's a logical reason to keep it.
Any idea of a time frame for construction?

I'll throw in with the group and agree it is an English jack which is about my favorite pattern.
Not completely convinced about being 'custom' made but that part isn't important. It is a fine old knife that will serve well.
