I have one of these in my pocket a lot of times. Very well made. Not really as handy to pull out and use as a one piece six inch ruler. But a lot easier to have with me.

Mel, where is that made? Is there a country of origin on it anywhere? I saw one very similar on eBay but couldn't bring myself to get it.

Jerry - it is made in Japan. I recently saw one on Ebay that looked identical except for the name - don't remember whose name was on that one.

I try to keep one with me for measuring flowers and leaves on wild plants.

I can do Japan but the one I saw on eBay was made on the Pacific Rim Mainland. No thanks. The Garrett Wade is $25 not counting shipping. I may be able to swallow that. We'll see.

There were some fine English made folding pocket rulers with knife blade, but I cannot recall the name at the moment. They were advertising/give-away items.
