UNKNOWN CASE

::shrug:: NEED INFO I HAVE A CASE TRAPPER THAT I JUST COME INTO AND WOULD LIKE TO KNOW SOMETHING ABOUT IT,I HAVE NEVE SAW ONE LIKE IT AND CANT FIND ANY INFO ON IT. IT HAS CASE WITH XX UNDER IT AND UNDER THAT ARE 6 DOTS. ON THE BACK OF THE BLADE IT IS STAMPED REDHEAD. THE OTHER BLADE IS STAMPED BK6254 WITH SS UNDER IT. THE HANDLES ARE GREEN AND LOOK LIKE BONE, NOT SURE. THE SHIELD IS ROUND WITH A FLYING DUCK ON IT, ANY INFO WOULD BE WELCOMED THANKS.

pattern 54 2 blade bone or delrin trapper.
I'm not sure what signifigance the duck and redhead represent but someone will-possibly CASE made a few different knives with different birds or ducks on them.
Is the 'S' in CASE a normal 's' or a lightning bolt 's'?
Regular 's' is 1974
Lightning 's' is 1984

IT LOOKS LIKE A LIGHTEN BOLT, I CANT SEE IT TO GOOD LOOKS LIKE SOMEONE HAS PAINTED IT BLACK, SO I CANT BE SURE RIGHT NOW

REMOVE THE PAINT.

PArt of a line of knives that Case made for Cabelas in the 1990's..pretty rare as I think they only lasted about a year in production.

"Red Head" and the flying duck are trademarks/logos of Bass Pro Shops.

Ooops!! my mistake and thanks for the correction....the knives were made for Bass Pro then. I always get those two companies confused.

Not a problem. In fact, I was posting that reply while you were typing yours so it wasn't really a correction :wink: . Check out the post times. Both are 3:43pm.

Only reason I remember which is which is because Cabelas sends me a bill every month ::tounge:: .

THANKS FOR THE INFO ON THE REDHEAD, ANYONE HAVE A VALUE ESTIMATE ON SUCH A KNIFE?
