Figured while I was up, I'd give the boys knives ready for this morning's mission cleaned and oiled, and honed!

Old Klein and Sons, Chicago, Electrician. Cleaned this up from black rusted blades, couldn't read the stamp, no snap and lots of grind. Now is snaps and looks better.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
What a sweet Trapper Dave, love the Wharn on that one. Nice color too, wow, sweet. And Tripple F Scott, great group of scouts and nothing like cleaned up, oiled, honed.
Who doesn't love a new knife? Obviously. But lately I love a new old one better. Nothing beats getting a new knife that's fifty, sixty, seventy odd years old like this 1949-58 Queen Half Congress, and still have it in great shape. And better still, unlike a new safe queen/shelf/display knife, these are usable and you can enjoy them and love on them and show off wherever you go and still not ruin the value. But best of all you can feel the experience of using them, you get a whole different experience you never get from a knife you don't use. Just the remnant of cursive "ueen" after the Q, above the STEEL. The snap is unbelievable, just perfect tension and the sound it makes is like it's from a percussion instrument. The blades stout and the steel is great. The action is so nice, just like my '76 Case Whaler. It has history and look of age and the age is not faked like new ones with fake aged looks. This bone is old and you know it at a glance from the look and style that is not worn in on a new knife. And they do not build them like this now.

Great Imperial there Triple F, love that kind of thing. It screams bygone era. Pretty to look at, tough and usable, and nobody's knife will look like yours when you pull it out. That is a fabulous thing.
Thanks for the compliments Steve and Dogg and any I missed.

Into oldies lately. This Case 62087 '40-64 is lighter and smaller than many single blade knives. Love that. And steel liners, sweet action, cool steel, beautiful bone. A favorite indeed.

Ever have one of those days when you wanted to carry a Stockman, but just couldn't decide which Stockman to carry? Got it narrowed down to two brands. OH
Ps. Nice 87 Ivoryman.

Nice problem to have OH, wow, sweet Stockmans or that mule shield Gunstock? Activate salivary glands, commencing drool.
