Nice knives Dogg!
Good patch and knife Ken - is your Uncle Henry from one of the NRA promos over the years?
There is this very cool rock near the beach; I like it for a background in knife pictures - just took this one of my EDC Buck 303. OH
No, it's not a NRA knife, the tang is stamped

Ivoryman, nice whittler, that is my favorite Case shield - I've gathered up several knives just to have that shield. Looks like sawcut bone handles too - not common from Case in the late 1990's. Dogg, maybe you should start wearing a helmet - I wasted all my extra brain cells during my youth - gotta protect what's left nowadays!! OH
Ps With Ivoryman's late 1990's Case as my inspiration, I'm going to carry my 1998 built 6347 today.

Thanks O Hunter, been looking at Stockman's like that, real beauty. Here's an old favorite from W. Bingham Co. Cleveland. Can't tell the date, but the company closed in '48 so before that. Steel liners and spring are like one piece, excellent snap, smooth action, love the long pull and how it opens and closes. Truly sweet knife and I wonder why they didn't sell more and stay in business? Great product.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nice, old, rare Barlow Ivoryman. Got the Buck and the Leatherman I see Dogg - well made and current American brands (we should be thankful). I broke out a knife I traded from Monk about 2-1/2 years ago - first time out of the tube and into my pocket as an EDC (since I've owned it). I pulled it out and got looking at it yesterday and then wondered which of my nephews would be breaking it in when I head off to the happy hunting ground - figured I might as well get 'er done now!! I think one of our members here at AAPK was responsible for the Ole Jack shield - I sure like it - reminds me of the ornery critter we used to prime tobacco behind when I was 13. OH

It has "Copperhead jigged bone" written on the tube label - in strong light it is closer to the dark Chestnut Brown that Case was using in the late 1990's than to anything else I own. It sure is a neat shield dogg - one of my favorites. OHIvoryman wrote:O Hunter ....., what's that color called?

Come to think of it, I guess I do like a particular two bladed jack model a lot. I'm toting this I'll Orvet custom 10 dot loom fixer today. And I have a 74 model in the mail box waiting for me this afternoon!

Case XX 055 from 1972 for me today. Great knife, super stout and snappy, pocket friendly, and some handsome brown bone.

I can see why Producer. Great knife.
Great EDC patterns Wade and Mike!
I have a couple of mint XX 17s that are not getting carried but I sure would like to pick one up for EDC. Love a big Ole sheep foot main myself.
The 055 is a great carry Mike. I carried mine last week for a few days. Like that pattern alot. A tank for it's size. Tough yet handsome too.

I like your "load out" Ken, should be prepared for just about anything there! The Case 055 I posted is 3 1/2 " closed, fits perfectly in a watch pocket.ken98k wrote:313 mike, that's a great looking jack, how long is it?
