SMALL GERMAN GRAVITY KNIFE....SSS?

Howdy Friends,..found this small German Gravity Knife at a store...opens by gravity,spring loaded handle/button on end...cheaply made...has 2 pincher type metal clamps inside that lock onto grooves on the Tang....stamped with 3-S's and an odd symbol, 2 of the S's are one direction the 3rd is another....reverse side is stamped "ges gesch".(German for "Trademark") Sorry for the crap pic...was in a hurry....I'll get a better one
Anyone have an idea who the Maker is?

That was a trademark of Hermann Schulder who was established as a cutler in Germany in 1853. The three "S" trademark was registered in 1897 and your model probably dates to the early 1900s.

Not familiar with the trademark but I have several knives that operate the same way made by the Eagle Pencil Co.
