Tony Bose Case Knife
What makes a Tony Bose Case knife special?
Is it a special finish/grind, design structure, or both?
Better resale value?
eg TB62028
Thanks in advance!

Re: Tony Bose Case Knife
The way I understand it, there are three different levels of Tony Bose knives.
- Top of the list is knives Tony Bose himself makes. Very expensive custom made of course.
- Next down are the Case/Tony Bose collaboration knives. Tony designs a knife, makes an example and ships it to Case and they copy the example taking extra care with the manufacturing of the knives. These are the ones you see on eBay for $300 and up.
- Then there are the Case knives that Tony Bose Authorizes his name to be attached to. They are just standard production knives with a 'TB' added to the pattern number. These are the ones that sell for under $100, let's say in the $50-$80 range or thereabouts. This is what your TB62028 is.

If Porche designed a car, then authorized Ford Motor Company to make it, would it be a "Porche".
I mean, different factory, different workers, different work ethic among those workers, different standards of excellence, etc.
I cannot help but be reminded of this thread:

Just wondering.

Is that an official request coming from Philco the AAPK Administrator?

And Charlie, you're supposed to fish with that bait, not eat it.
I tell ya, kids these days.
