Thanks thanks thanks Junebug for the specs and name, is that a mass produced, or special order or something? Doesn't look like the kind with antique bone covers or something like that.

Got it, guess you can screw on different covers. But I wondered if they came with natural cover choices, or just tactical looking? Thanks again.

others = carbon fiber,g10,wood............ AS OF NOW, MAYBE NEXT ONE WILL BE BONE OR STAG????? ::shrug::
THEY MAKE EVERY ONE DIFFERENT ::tu::
YOU WOULD HAVE TA ASK SAL GLESSER THAT ONE............ ::super_happy:: ::tu::

I once got to try out/handle a Sage Carbon Fiber S30V for a couple weeks.
ALWAYS wanted one of my own but never was able to get one.
I think the Ti handled frame lock version might even be more cool!

At this point in time I aren't carrying anything. There is a Chen 12C27 neck knife close to hand.

You guys certainly don't make it easy for a newbie to the hobby to try and define/refine what to collect.
Some sweet knives!

Welcome to the club Warden. I define what to collect as the knives I want and am willing to pay for. I refine that when I get more disposable funds. My two pennies.

Steve, half of the knives I collect I'd never seen or heard of until I joined here. It's an addiction I tell ya!

But seriously, I decided that I am not a collector. I'm an accumulator. I accumulate knives I like and I'll let my wife and sons worry about collector value when I'm gone. ::tu::

Cleaned, polished, buffed, lubed, wiped down. Before pics of it on page 772. After below. Main edge was folded over, really trashed shape. Had to regrind and make a new edge, other than that just clean up and restore some shine. Friend said it was his granddad's, dated '45-55. Lots of hard miles on it but now it will shave hair effortlessly, lift any cap, turn a few screws and whatever.

Many thanks TrippleF, Hammer Brand USA says the tang. The dating buffs gave me the date of 1945-55 five pages back, hat tip to them.
