But, I probably deserved it since I was always the one to ...a very unpredictable child, was I...and probably only gotten worse with age.

Nabbed this S&M Congress Whittler recently and today was looking over it closely and found it has scrolled liners with all kinds of delicate lined designs inside. Can't believe it. I have never seen liners with scrolled décor inside a knife before, clear down to the springs where they can't really be seen. I guess pleasantly surprised, but seems like a great place for corrosion to start and collect unnoticed and a lot of work and expense that really never gets seen or appreciated. Not going to make cleaning any easier. Interesting though.
