Retailer question

Post by ea42 »

Anybody here use Bladecrazy? I want to place an order but I've read a couple of negative things and was looking for some folks who've actually made purchases.
Any info would be appreciated ::tu::

Johnnie,
It's a knife retailer on the web, bladecrazy.com. Just noticed them today so I did a search on some forums for feedback and the only thing that I came up with was a note from someone on BF who hadn't received $350 worth of knives. Unfortunately that person won't accept e-mails so I have no way to follow up. Just wondering if anyone else has had similar problems before I add them to my shopping list :D

I haven't dealt with them Eric, but I'd be a little wary. Caveat emptor!

The fine folk with AAPK stores are reliable and have great prices (and if you don't like their service you can complain here!).

There are also a bunch of other web sites run by AAPK members that are
excellent...Cumberland Knife Works, Spaceport Cutlery, Collectorknives.net, KnivesShipFree immediately come to mind. All run by good folk who hang around here. I'm sure there are others.

Bill,
There was a little Moki with MOP and abalone inlay that caught my eye, but after checking out several other sites I see that the price is pretty much in line with everyone else. After giving it some thought though, I think I'll just keep to my present course and go for a U.S. made blade.
Thanks Guys!

Hi EA42.

You might want to keep your eyes on the guys at http://www.covecutlery.com because they have a "half price" deal of the day every day. They have had 3 Moki knives as the pick in the last couple weeks. They actually had the "leaf" for $107 only it was pearl. I had been wanting one and snagged it in a hurry. Maybe they will put the ironwood version on special soon. I can tell you the pearl is a very nice knife indeed.
A life without pocketknives is dull and pointless.

Thanks needbucks! I'll keep an eye on them, I'd completely forgotten about that site.

If you can't wait it out...and know you are going to fold up like the circus tent after the last show...here is a pretty fair price, if this is the model you are looking at.....
