New England Knife Co? Pearl Whittler

Post by knifeaholic »

I picked up this little pearl whittler at the recent Brimfield antique show.

Marked NEW ENGLAND KNIFE CO on all blades.

Does anyone have any info on this brand?

Nice knife! Only thing I know is an approx date of 1910 from Levine's book and in the New England Cutlery book by Pankiewicz a short sentence under the New England Cutlery Co states that the New England Knife Co was a different company and their knives possibly made in Germany... Not much help here I guess but all I could find... And you probably knew all this already :D

John Goins gives a date of 1910 to 1930 but has no other information. Dave
