Living in the past, 1975 6308 Whittler, Brown bone. Smaller than all of my other Case Whittlers so don't even notice in the pocket and still all the blade options ever needed out here in Seahawk City, and about the same age as the franchise.

Got up this morning and threw the same two Rough Riders in pocket. At least if (when) I sweat the knives will be ok.

Check out their website, Mitch. They have some nice knives. Southern Grind is owned by country music star Zac Browm.

Awesome bone handles you guys are toting!
I occasionally carry the benchmade mini dejavu but I favor a slipjoint.

These are the ones I carry most. There's virtually no printing with the 'micro' canadian and it weighs less than the folders.

corrected to micro

So I have been cutting thru my share of boxes in the past two weeks, due mainly to this whole wedding thing I'm paying for in October. Glad I only had one kid, any more and I would be broke before you know it! So as I was saying, this wedding thing happening soon has promoted somewhat of a package frenzie here at our home. Everyday it seems a few new parcels arrive ready for me to open with my knife. My knives are starting to wonder if they're related to the USPS! This Northwoods #15 pattern got the duty today.

I'll say one good thing about Rough Riders. At least on the larger blades I can get them to do paper or hair with ease. The smaller blades on the whittler are giving me some guff...

Those have always looked like they might make a good cap lifter, do they work for that? Thanks for pics, much appreciated.

Great looking purple on that Broadway, never saw that in the choices at KSF, you scored a cool one there. Must have sold out before I got to see them. Thanks for showing that off.

I've never tried it Ivoryman. I don't do beer. And Mexican Cokes are not getting to me very often.

My mistake, looks like Purple Haze or something, and very cool. Can't believe it's black. Thanks for clearing that up.

This Queen surpassed expectations. Carrying it a lot lately because it's growing on me big time. Hesitated but then got it because it's the only Sheep Foot Whittler I've ever seen and love the rare Sheep main. Color was good, but grew on me and in this light looks even better than direct sun. Love the deep uneven jigging, the snap is firm but not overboard, the action is silky smooth, size and weight unobtrusive. I love the long pull too, but don't even need it because this one pinches open and none of my other whittlers do that. Love it when a knife is even better than expected.

From the 2004 Series XIV of the Schatt & Morgan Keystone Series. It's the 043448 Carpenter's Whittler with a Sterling Silver shield. The threaded bolsters just set it off. It's an absolutely beautiful knife. Queen used that main blade on three of the Keystone Series whittlers.

I have one from the 2005 Series XV that has stag handles. Very taken with the knife.

Ivoryman, I hear ya about the sheepsfoot main whittlers. You'd like this one, black bone, Crandall with a Germany ink stamp on the back blade, split spring whittler.
