Camillus #51 Restoration with stag

Post by orvet »

I love Barlows and think they look great with stag handles.
This knife is one I rebuilt and put in a new blade I got from Tom Williams a couple years ago.

I hope you enjoy the pictures.

I am NOT a fan of Barlow's, but there's no denying that stag pretties that knife up a whole bunch. If I can find some stag/ antler/ horn I don't mind wasting, I'm going to give that a go someday. Very nice work, Dale.

This has to be one of my favorites from you, Dale (and there have been many)

It's tough to get a good final look to stag without hafting too much away, I think you got just the right amount.

Great looking piece!!!

I'm not a big fan of barlows, and most stag. But I does like that one. It's plumb pretty. Extra nice job.

wow, that's purty Dale! ::tu:: This slipped past me! Be sick for three weeks, in bed with a nasty virus. As always with your knives this one shines! That's why I own more than one of your stag handled beauties. Including a Camco barlow that is first Orvet custom that I bought several years ago! I need to get back in my shop soon! Your work has always been an inspiration to me Dale. Keep rocking 8)
