MSA Pearl Elephant Toe Nail !!!!!
Ok, well I HATE to brag, but I recently picked up an authentic MSA Elephant Toe Nail with PEARL handles. Yes, I know this is a pink unicorn, not supposed to exist...
But this one is GUARANTEED to be authentic...at least from the guy who sold it to me...
I think I'll let the tension mount before I post photos.

Wow!! The pearl on this thing is REALLY nice...blades appear to need a little cleaning...trying to make out the exact tang stamp...

Ok we'll start with just a peek - I would not want people to get too excited all at once, pass out and bang their heads on their keyboards...

Ok well, enough of the drama...here she is. Can't quite make out all of the markings, but I can FEEL it in my bones that this is the REAL DEAL...an MSA Pearl Toenail made by Case Brothers.
I may hit the blades with a little more Simichrome, but I don't like to clean them up TOO much.

I know...I'm trying not to get too many fingerprints on the blades...I swear I can just barely see the TESTED XX etch on the spear blade...FRJ wrote:Steve, be careful! If you cut your self with that thing you wont last long .......

Re: MSA Pearl Elephant Toe Nail !!!!!
WOW Steve !!! All on the outside looks right...
can you make out with a loop any MSA markings ???
I know Scott King of Alabama was suppose to have one in his famous toenail collection
I saw a Stag one at a gigantic Marble's auction about 10 yrs ago I went too
It had Gladstone stamped Gladestone on it, they had it in a special case with like
a magnafiying sheet mounted over it so you could see the stamp...
I cannot remember for certain sure, but I believe it went for $3600.00
What would Roger(RIP) have to say about this Steve if he was still with
us here at AAPK ??? He would go nuts !!! He loved the toenails he did...
How bout a pic of any stamp thats left on it Steve...
As ya all know with my collection and my store having mostly Marble's knives and
Outing equipment, I been a Marble's freak since my early teens, or better than 50 yrs
I hate to admit..lol
Ya gotta feel on top of the Case knife world Steve, Congrats !!!
