there were so many outstanding knives i went into overload and walked out without even spending what funds i had!
saw some cactus handled knives from a texan maker and he told me how to prepare and i'm on a mission now. and the sellers were all very friendly and even let annettee touch their knives

Johnny Fain..... I would have loved to come down thar and met up with some of my fellow Texicans here on AAPK. People don't realize just how big Texas is! I would have had to cross the same amount of distance of about 4 states in the rest of the USA! lol! Bein up here in the Panhandle takes me forever to get anywhere else in this great state! Glad you had a good time, and I hope Randy and Richard did as well!

Boy, do I ever know what you mean.
I went to my first show today, and forgot to spend 3/4 of what I took along.
I can't wait to go back tomorrow !
I wore my hat, which prompted a few questions, but I think I'm all alone in Eastern Pa.

If it's meant for me to have it, it'll still be there.

I am very confused...
When I went to a KNIFE SHOW and came home I showed you all many knives...
All I see in this post is WORDS and one Button ???
How can a trip to a Knife Show be worth it with out a souvenir knife ?
YOU ALL go back now you here....

Well, I finally made it back from the big city. Johnnie and Randy, sorry I missed you guys. I was lookin' for AAPK hats but.......
I did meet Perry, and his lovely wife, Marie. Chatted with her more than Perry ( I think he was campaigning).
Also met a Mr. Campbell, Bruce Voyles' cousin, who had some great stories about the late Jim Parker.
Ken - I did buy a few items. But it's late and too dark for pics now. I'll snap a few tomorrow and post.
Very enjoyable roadtrip!
Take care all,
Richard
