Tommy, that one is right up your alley. She's 3½" closed and has a split back spring but doesn't have the wedge shaped brass divider.carrmillus wrote:....jerry, I really like that s & m whittler, never seen that bone.......that is purty!!!...........![]()

This one might tickle your fancy too. It's 3¾" closed and does have the wedge shaped brass separator.
Thanks for the kind words gentlemen. It's nice to know that others have the same tastes.

Here's a Case Prime Stag Humpack Whittler that I own. This is the nicest one that I've ever seen. There are no rub marks on the blades and they are centered perfectly.

I love that movie! So do the boys. That's my goal for retirement, to be like those brothers. I tell my oldest two they already act like those guys.
Dickens, real nice half whittler!

..o.k., jerry, I looked at all the keysone series and it's not listed, so I guess it's a standard production-run knife. the box is marked #043176-s&m-stag, and it is stag...................

Ah Hah. So it's in the wrong box. It's not part of the Keystone Series, Premier Series or the File & Wire Series. I can't find it in any of the lists I have access to but it doesn't matter since it's perfectly marked with the year and all the knifes pertinent information.
