GEC: EDC, Looking good!

::ds:: ::ds:: GEC: EDC, looking good, cutting well and fast becoming a favorite. Has cut everything incl. my wifes' plantar wart and bullocks heart for our pet Kookaburras.
I like the way the bone is coloring from use, carry and the odd wipe down
with 3 in 1 oil. A couple of months EDC.
g1 and g8 photos are out of the box, the other two today. ::tu:: ::tu::

That started out as a great looking knife and you have made it look even better by EDC-ing it, John!

I love the way the handle looks and the patina on the blade is great! I can't say that I've seen any pictures of GECs around here that people have been using, but like I said, yours looks better now than when it was brand new.

Don't tell me what a "bullocks heart for our pet Kookaburras" is yet.

I'm going to see if I can find out for myself first!

Ohh that was a painful pun Lobo. ::disgust:: ::barf:: :lol: I liked it.

I saw Maddux pitch at Wrigley a couple years ago. Masterful. I've never seen anything like it. Worked fast, threw strikes, like 3 hits, 7 strikeouts, and 20 infield ground outs. Amazing.

I guess this may be unfair to John B. I had to go to wikipedia myself to find out what a kookaburra was (I think a bullock is a cow?)

Well John, you'd think that since I'm from America's Dairyland, I'd be more specific about steers, bulls, cows, etc.

Thery are all "cows" to me. I'm a city boy.

So a bullock got a "visit from the ol' spey blade." Got it!

Your GEC would be an excellent choice for bullock-making!

I know someone (I don't know who ::paranoid:: ) got this thread off track, so let me get back to the point...

Wow! That's a nice looking knife!

Those GEC bone knives beg to be used. I am glad to see they are coming out with a new pattern.

Does anyone have a picture of the GEC scout next to something like a Case or Queen Trapper or stockman? The Scout looks like it has a pretty hefty blade on it. I'm just considering one.

If you want the knife to use, grab a GEC in 1095, you won't be dissapointed and if by some chance you are, they will repair or replace.
These are very helpful people who stand behind their product, 100 percent. Bryan has quite a selection at very keen prices. Cheers John.

Well two already caught my eyes. Derrick at knivesship for free has the stag and then cumberland knife works has a nice rans horn. My wife was asking what I wanted for Christmas!!!!
