Kinfe identification needed

I put this in another thread but thought I'd stick it here too to see if anyone recognizes who made this blade. The stamp is a "c" with a hammer under it, and two c's under the hammer as pictured below. I bought the knife at the Janesville knife show a few years back and the previous owner didn't have a clue who the maker was. Thanks for any herp you can give me.____Dave

Sorry I can't help with identification, but that is a fine looking knife, I like it alot. What is the OAL on her?

Mike, it's 11 1/2 inches. It's a nice knife and really well made. Iy feels so good in my hand and the balance is perfect. Wish I could find some info. on it. I made the sheath to fit it and was happy with that too. Thanks for your comment. ______Dave

Reckon it could have been made by a local knife maker somewhere and that's his stamp? I don't know. But I'm like Mike, it a real nice looking knife. I like it a lot.

And you did a very good job on the sheath too!

I am still leaning towards Russia or Ukrainian. Reason is because the hammer and cycle is the Russian symbol of strength. cccp
The russian abreviation for "USSR". These latin symbols are identical to the cyrillic ones used in the Russian alphabet. CCCP is pronounced as:
Soyuz Sovetskih Sosalistichiskih Republic

I have a fixed blade from the Ukraine with similar wood and brass blade guard. Also Russian wrist watches are easy to identify. MYOP.
