Folks that Squirrel got me too. Somewhere he stumbled on to a 1940 Marines Handbook Seventh Edition and sent it to me, but wait. It wouldn't be a proper bomb without a knife in it so he included a Kissing Crane Whittler with beautiful horn handles.

Squirrel, you're a hell of a fella and I thank you. Can't tell you how much I appreciate these items.

I just had a wonderful but way too short visit from Philco and his charming wife and daughter. I'll leave the story of his trip for Phil to tell but, as we saying our good byes, Phil bombed me this little treasure. Never saw that coming! Thank you Phil.
It's a 3 1/2" C Schlieper gunstock jack. Hasn't left my pocket except to oogle over it since Wednesday evening.

I hope you next visit will be much longer, (and much less smoky.)
