Nice knife, I like the use of wood on handles. They used Bocote which I liked and I would like to see the use of Cocobolo, Rosewood, or ebony for another. I hear Bill Horn has the rights to that one, the ebony. Not to expensive and brings back some old woods that were used in the past.

Fantastic ! ::tu:: ::tu:: ::tu::

Is that snakewood stabilized, or not ? And are those new labels that will be used for all the GEC's now, instead of the little stick-ons ?

If it's meant for me to have it, it'll still be there.

I would guess that's it's not, only a few can do that with any success. Snakewood will pick up a shine just like that by buffing. I made a couple knives with snakewood and it's so dense I just buffed them. Last I saw them they still had a beautiful shine.

I'd sign up for one with ebony, if it were a trapper size with an endcap.

But that'd do MM out of some work, and I wouldn't have any file on the springs. And I sure wish they'd make it with a lanyard hole.

A trapper, in a Cutter's & Collector's slip case, with a string on the handle is ::ds:: ::tu::

I hear an ebony #73 trapper from GEC will be coming to Bill Horn by the end of the year. With and without an endcap I believe, in quantities of 50 each. Might be sooner than that, he is taking orders for the Ram's Horn now.

It would be real nice and a great promotional aide if GEC made some and sold it along with SFO's and sold some at cost. :mrgreen:
