pressbutton double trouble

I picked up a little double end pressbutton that looks like it got run over by a truck then pryed back apart causing the pivot bushing to loosen up . Any suggestion on how I can get to it and tighten it back up. also I see that the handle pins are stepped and pinned so I need a tip on how to fasten them back on , I was thinking about tapping the liner and threading a new pins but want to hear from you all first . Thanks guys

handles will need to come off to repeen the blade bushings. threading the liners and the ends of your pins is one option for re-attachment of the scale. You'll still need a stiddy to re-peen the top of the pin

The handles are off but it looks difficult to get a straight shot at the bushing with the button & all , any advice sure would be helpful

pull scale pins if they are still sticking out the the liners, use a razorblade or other thin object to lift the sear spring until the sear clears the liner and swing it out of the way (will probably be tight) tap button out just like a pin, then work on the bushing, replace everything by reversing the previous procedure

I hope you get well soon MM . O.k. I have the scale pins & button out thank you .....the liner is slightly bent and popped the pivot from the knife being used as a prybar so I will try and straighten that out without removing the blade? what tool and technik should I use to tighten that pivot bushing? I have my own heavy handed ideas that involved a tapered punch to spread if need be and a regular punch to move the metal over the liner with a 0700 slackener but feel there should be something in the hole to make sure it dont close up ...... I really want my knife back together & don't wanna muck it up .
