Prayers for my wife

There are times in each of our lives that rain falls, hard times come and it helps to reach out to our friends and to our God for a little support. This is the place to express those needs, concerns and situations so others in the AAPK family can keep you in their prayers.

Prayers for my wife

Post by Colonel26 »

I sure would appreciate some prayers for Precious, aka Valerie. For the last 13 months she's been having pretty intense pain. At first they said it was her appendix, so she had that removed, but it didn't go away. Then they said she was having some female issues and recommended a full hysterectomy. We didn't fell comfortable with that so we went to some more specialists and it turned out it wasn't a female issue, but no one could pinpoint it.

This week the pain has become unbearable, it's constant. This is the woman who had an emergency c section without anesthesia, so when she doubles up and cries for hours it's bad.

She went to the doctor again today and they've found some swollen lymph nodes in her abdomen, and the blood work shows no sign of infection. So the next step is the surgeon for a biopsy, hopefully tomorrow.

I'd appreciate any prayers y'all could say on her behalf.

Thanks fellers.

Thank you gentlemen. Valerie emailed the nurse of one of the specialists she'd seen at Vanderbilt. The nurse had the Dr look back over her lasts tests down there. The Dr said that the lymph nodes were definitely swollen, but looked completely normal.

That's taken the edge off the worry a little bit. She has an appointment with a pelvic pain specialist the 20th of this month (hospitals seem to move at their own pace).

Thank you for your prayers. We greatly appreciate them.

Wade,

I'm praying for your wife, you and your sons. If I know anything, it's that when Momma is feeling bad it impacts the entire family in a big way. I pray that her pain will be gone and that whatever is causing it will be healed. I'm praying in the name of Jesus.

Gentlemen, Brothers, thank you for your prayers. Valerie has been better for a few days.

She has an appointment in Nashville, TN Monday afternoon with a pelvic pain specialist. Please pray that we find out what is causing this pain.

Thank you guys.

Thank you all for your prayers! Valerie had her appointment today at Vanderbilt with a new specialist. It went very well!

She ran some tests and thinks she knows exactly what is going on! The best thing is there are multiple ways to treat this, all pretty simple. So we're going to try the least complicated first and go from there. This is the first one that hasn't wanted to cut on her right away!

We Praise the Lord for what he's done, and thank you all for your prayers!

Thank you guys.

Lyle she's been putting up with me for about 11 years now. I don't know what I'd do without her. She's a good woman, good cook, good momma, she likes guns, and can quote knife pattern numbers and tell Delrin from bone. Those qualities are getting hard to come by.
