Case XX Davey Allison

Post by Ksmith »

Can someone tell me about this knife? It has #124 stamped on it which I assume is the number of production. The blade has 86254 SS on it. Any information is appreciated. It is supposedly a 1987 Rookie of the Year knife W.R Case and Sons Collectors series.[/img]

Those knives are a dime a dozen...they made a bazillion of them. I'll do you a favor and take it off your hands for $25.00???

I personally would love to have it. If you want to sell it, post it on the knife auction site and see what happens.

I looked into it,
What I have read pretty much sums up what I was thinking,
there are so many NASCAR commemorative knives, they could have a book on their own.
Basically it said to treat them like any other commemorative knife, unless you have alot of ties to NASCAR memorabilia collectors.
I did happen to come across a Davey Allison Listing "1992 Hard Charger"
which said it has imitation Ivory Handles, and Deep Etched SS blades (Trapper) and came with a Hard Shell display box.
Mint it goes for $90, oh and 2000 of those were made.

Hope that gives you somewhat of an idea as far as value.
