These 2 today. Just got the Barlow off the bay for $5.00. It's my 1st Barlow, believe or not. Not the last one for sure though.

Nice one guys! Hey dogg I think that is a 31SAB. If I recall correctly they did not make the 35 in long pull, at least in that year. Could be wrong. They do look identical as to shape, etc. Always hard with no size reference but that is how I normally tell them apart in those years. Carrying a 31SAB as I write this. Love that pattern.

Nice one BC. Great knives Josh and Mike! Not that I don't like the others, love seeing the diverse carries. Just partial to CASE.

Jerry

EDIT: Looking at pic, blade does look like a saber on BC's knife. Maybe the pic, maybe I dont know what the hell I am talking about also!!!

Jerry, you are correct. That one is 6231 1/2 bone handle. 9 dots. I do have a 35 1/2 I posted previously. It is delrin handled. The thing I like about it is I carry it in my pocket with keys, change etc. without worrying about scratching it up. I don't carry the 31 1/2 very often and never where it can get scratched.

I bought this Benchmade 710 D2 a few weeks ago and have not done much with it. It's quite a large knife and a little intimidating. So, today I'm going to to try it out and see how it carries. I'll also have a 3" Kabar in my watch pocket for finer cutting needs.

Ken, that little Kabar jack is cool. I lucked into a similar one (1005) in mint condition at a pawn shop in Fayetteville NC several years ago - great steel for an inexpensive knife. I think Camillus may have built them for Kabar. OH

I've been carrying this Schrade 34OT for several days - had to beat for a lightweight knife when wearing shorts.

Half right. Wrong about one thing though Steve. I forgot that only the black comp handle 2231 has a SAB blade. I love the 31 pattern. Like the 35 quite a bit also but I don't have a EDC just my collection 35s.

The 31 is built like a tank. Nice 3-3/4" Jack. Been carrying this one all week and probably next. And the rehandled 1973' 6383 in Micarta.

Carried this Kabar and Buck 112 this morning while I was out scouting for gobblers - after seeing how big the Black Bear is now, I'm gonna be like Daniel Boone and switch to a big Bowie! OH

It was a tussle between these two. A 40-64 Case 6375 or a Western 4 inch split back whittler. I think the case won today. Maybe the whittler tonight.
