Besides the pen/light combo, he made a friendship bracelet for me which I have on right now and it all started with an NCR money clip he found someplace. Scott remembered that I had worked for NCR so he passed it on to me.

Not exactly a bomb but it is. A week or so ago ~Q~ (QTCut5) asked for my address saying he wanted to gift a knife to me because I introduced him to AAPK, have been nice to him and am just an all around swell fella. (Dang ~Q~! That's the way I heard it. ) Well it came today and there was the knife I chose in the box but it was too heavy for just that. Good reason for that. There was a whole lot of other stuff in the box. ~Q~ went nuts.

Two leather knife slips
Two key rings. One a Hawaiian shirt and the other has a compass on it in case this old codger loses his way.
A pair of forceps/tweezers with funky tips on them. Big'uns. 5¼" long. Can anyone tell me their purpose?
And the piece de resistance, a Case Doctor knife.

Here I was all thinkin' I was the one doing the bombing...when in actuality it was Josh who "carpet bombed" me with a blindsided barrage of sharp-edged schrapnel. Just look at this pile he sent me in trade for two automatics. I'm sorry, Josh, but I can't let this go unchallenged. Unfortunately, due to all the swaps I've done recently, I just don't have much 'ammo' left in the swap box; however, I will return fire with some other stuff you may find interesting.

Believe it or not...there was yet another item that crafty ol' Junebug sent that I totally forgot to include in the photo. Check out this little Leatherman tool (caplifter, screwdriver, small pry tool, etc., possibilities are endless)...just a really cool, solid little chunk-o-steel with innumerable possible uses that I have already added onto my keychain.

I threw the claw carving on OD green para-cord.....and drilled new holes in SKULL BEAD,and added it
as a BOLO type slip bead to necklace..... i will gift it to my son on his next visit to the house.
he will be sooo JAZZED!!!!

I've been hit! Brother Dale done hit me with something real special. I bought an old West Cut (Western) fixed blade off him that he picked up at the big show. In the box, along with a real nice letter was this.

It's a Wester Birdv& Trout! It' was a second, Western has been ground off the tang, since the original handle was cracked. But Dale worked his magic on it and now look at it! He even made a nifty sheath to go with it! This thing rocks!

Western B/T knives are my favorite Western fixed blades, and my go to for field dressing deer. I think this one deserves at least one trip to the woods! It's beautiful! I love the four handle pins.

Thanks Dale! This is one EXTRA special Western!
