I ask because of the name they call it.

Some old knives were stamped "Strikefire" and if you struck them on the back edge it would produce sparks in which you could start a camp fire ::uc::

I never tried it myself even though I have an old knife marked as such, can`t bring myself to start beating a very valuable knife on the spine to see if it produces sparks

8) I hear you D! It seems like the Tops Knife Company, primarily tries to cater to the Military with it's designs and model names. I don't know maybe they are talking about something like this?

I only have one TOPS knife, and it is a good one! Small, yet incredibly stout. Excellent and easily carried woods knife.

It is called the TSK.... Tactical Steak Knife... silly name, great knife, under 60 bucks. ::tu::
