older knife need help???

Post by Mossdancer »

Hi:
It is a SCHMIDT'S over HOLMAC over BRAND the pile side is an s inside a circle. Brass liner, pins in handle appear to be brass. Blades and blade pins are carbon steel. All three blades were marked both sides. Bolsters are some silver composition probably german silver. Master bolster is longer than other. Two full springs, the pattern was a three blade pearl handled sleeve board. Looks sort of like a Jenny Lind.

My books do not show it. Photos are below. Try to look beyond the condition, it is obviously a POS. I would still like to know its origination and birth place, and half century of birth if possible. Thank You,
Moss
