Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Yesterday after I cut open a grapefruit I put the Case 3318PU down and forgot about it.
So I carried this one that stays in the truck. Got home and found the 3318PU I think maybe the heat treat on the 3318PU ain't so good. I can radically change the edge by stropping on my jeans. And I mean one pass with moderate pressure makes a big difference.
My first Kershaw Cryo was like that.
Many of my knives just laugh at jeans.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Nice carries as always Gents! back in town, carried the "OX" as I call it, CASE XX 6165 Hunter and the 91048 TESTED Farmer Jack for finesse cuts while cleaning up the yard this weekend.
Switched out the Hunter today for the 1794' 31SAB Long Pull.
All have great old CASE steel and get scary sharp and hold the edge a long time between stone touch ups. No pruners or shears required. My main yard work carries.
Pics 1 and 2 Saturday/Sunday.
Pics 2 and 3 are today's EDCs.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Same 2 as yesterday. Starting to get a little bit of patina on the boys knife sheep foot blade from slicing apples.
Triple F, I'm startin' to get a craving for one of those Victorinox SAK knives. Maybe a Pioneer Alox or Farmer.
This sickness is starting to have quite a few different symptoms, but the only cure seems to be more knives.

I feel your pain Steve. That's why it starts getting real tight each month, about a week or two before payday.

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
Thanks guys, I usually reserve that knife for ceremonial purposes (no heavy duty cutting) but I just like looking at it, so I'm carrying it! OH

Re: WHAT ARE YOU CARRYIN RIGHT NOW? WHAT IS YOUR FAV EDC?
I been carrying this. But my thinking is the clip blade got a FUNKY heat treat. The Sheepfoot blade is not cursed like that. I been working to take the edge angle down less acute. Took some DOING to get it to slice paper. Got some more work to do.
Looking for the magic penny!
