Case Question
I recently purchased a 1984 Case #6254 that has some etching on the blade but the color has been removed, it looks like a fox, and there is an SL superimposed in the upper right hand corner of the etching. I was wondering if anyone could give me any kind of information about this knife and an estimated value. The knife is in great shape other than the etching it has never been sharpened and looks new.Any help at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

well, I been looking in 2 books, can't really find anything yet with an etched blade,
But the 6254 for the 80's goes for $45
6254SSP 80's goes for $50
Now in my Official Price Guide to collector knives 13th Edition, they do have a paragraph talking about etched blades for Case knives and such, which I think this may fall under, on page 512 & 513. And that states collectors value's are about $50 as well.
Hope this helps you out some!
