Seneca Cutlery Co. question

I'm entirely new to collecting knives, so please, bear with me and my questions!

I'm looking for any information on this Seneca Cutlery Co. knife, particulary history and value. I've had zero luck finding anything about the company online. End to end it measures 3.25 inches, the blades still have good snap to them,a firm half stop and the handles have no detectable cracks or chips.

Any information at all will be greatly appreciated!

If possible, post a close up of the tang stamp as there are several listings for Seneca. At the least, give us the exact wording of the stamps on both sides of the tang.

According to Goins' Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings your knife was made in circa 1932 by Utica Cutlery Co. in Utica, New York.

The knife's tang stamp is a little but out of focus but if I'm reading it correctly, it says Seneca Cutlery Co. Utica N.Y. If so, according to Goins Encyclopedia of Cutlery Markings, this was a trademark used by Utica Cutlery, c 1932. Levine's Guide also lists this as a mfrs brand used by Utica Cutlery from 1932 to 1942.

I've always been told that Seneca was a Utica stamping too. That knife looks Utica to me. Old Uticas sure had some good metal in em. Even old delrin Utica Kutmasters had dang goid steel.

Since you guys like the tip bolster knives, I have an old Henry Sears pen knife I thought I would share. It has similar scales and federal shield as your Seneca/Utica knife. Mine has a blade on each end and both are pen blades. Yours has a clip point and pen and both on the same end. both appear to have black jig bone handles with silver tip bolsters. Interesting, same maker? Terry

Here is a Seneca Cutlery Co scout pattern(missing the compass)and two Utica Cutlery Co patterns.All were bought together and the manufacturer is obvious.

I know this is an old thread but I found a Seneca that was a little different. It has a "33" at the very bottom of the tang stamp, "Stainless Steel" on the shield, and a "C" on the back of each blade. I just figured I would post it for others to see.
