Wronghanded here also Wade. I too am like carrmillus. Rifle only though. So is my son. The muscle memory has just gotten used to shooting a rifle left handed with right hand controls. My AR-10 bolt release is perfect for a lefty as it came stock with right ejection. If I had a left handed bolt probably would have trouble with it. Done it me whole life so I honed some fairly fluid procedures to accomodate. If the gun is spraying brass in your face, whole different ballgame though.

Great guns guys. I love those old Remington semi autos based on the carbine williams floating chamber.

Carrmillus, Jerry, I bought my Lefty how first rifle a while back. It's a savage mark II youth model, left handed. It's an amazing and accurate little rifle.

For shotguns were pretty fixed with the Ithaca model 37's. Being bottom ejecting he shouldn't have a problem with those.

Still an old Remington 241 would be a lot of fun for me, er I mean him. Yeah, him. Shhhh don't tell my wife.

The Browning SA-22 is still in production....it is pretty much the same gun as the Remington 241. My buddy has one and it is a sweet little rifle.

Tommy -- Saw a commercial on TV, night before last, for Henry firearms. Did my soul good to see them advertising like that. I don't remember if I've ever seen a firearms commercial on the tube before.

Ahh, that 'splains it in one ugly word. WORK?! (in my best Maynard G. Krebs imitation). Enough toys? I don't even know what that means but of course, we all know if mama says it, it must be true.

Watch it Monkey Man. If she's insisting you retire, she's hiding a honey-do list around there someplace, the likes of which no man has seen before nor wants to ever see.

Yep, overalls will do it! It's a scientifically proven fact that overalls britches legs have chemical properties that will sanitize anything wiped across them.

Well maybe not scientific, but pa always wiped the spey blade of his XX 6375 on his overall britches before "cutting" a calf or horse colt. Never lost one. Give it a wipe when done, close the spey, open the sheepsfoot and cut off another chaw of mammoth cave twist. Never hurt him either. Lol
