I carry a Spyderco Endura4 every day. It ain't pretty, but it fits my hand better than just about any other knife I've ever packed. Of course, like the others have mentioned it's just so easy to take it out of my pocket, flip it open, and close it up without letting go of what I'm cutting. Plus in weather like this I only have to take one glove off to cut a feed sack open! ::tu:: .

I like the spyderco Endura because it won't break the bank, it's tough, ain't chicom, decent steel, and I can flip it open faster than the AO knives I've tried. I always have a traditional on me though, usually a stockman or a Case loomfixer.

I'll disagree with Dave though. If only we could get Spyderco to make a knife with real steel ::poke:: !
A nice CV like 1095, heat treated like the old Western knives. Mmmmm, that'd be a knife!

As a matter of fact some Spyderco knives can be had with "Super Blue" steel which is some sort of carbon steel.... just sayin as I don't have one.

Today was spent working on one of my old trade stimulators. These are both 1937 Zephers but the red one needs a few springs to get it back up and running. These machines are pretty basic in their mechs. You just have to bird dog the problems out. Radio Jack was helping to regulate how fast the wheels turn and lock in place.

I had carried this VIC SAK late last week (before Colonel26 bombed me with a Buck 301) after locating it in a desk drawer. I bought this knife at Fort Bragg NC, upon my return from the NATO DISPLAY DETERMINATION exercise in 1986 as my ARNG EDC. I had a very similar SAK model for the previous few years, but gave it to an Italian Army Officer as a gift - he let me take his West German built Leopard tank out on their proving ground in Northern Italy and put it through the paces. At that time all my experience was with the US M48A5 and the M60A3 and I was just getting to know the M1 Abrams - the Leopard was a fine tank. OH
