Mitch, are the handles on that Voyager a deep blue or is that a bluish shade of purple. It looks to be about the same size as the Cold Steel Twistmaster (6" closed). Big old honker.
Edit: Yes, yes. That's what they all say. I got accustomed to it long ago.

Gino I think for the price that it would be hard to beat the Tenacious. I've got one with a partially serrated blade. It's a winnner IMO.

Out for its maiden voyage. This Western Boulder Colo 426 (3 5/8) came to me needing oil and with black blades. But she's right now! Snappy, way sharp, and decent size blades for a mini knife! And look at that sswedge on the clip!

Right on Phil! Awesome old knives. I'm a a Western addict, and I blame one low down west coast scoundrel for it! He sent me one in a trade and I've never been the same since!philco wrote:Wade I'm with you, those old Westerns don't begin to get the appreciation they desrerve. Great knife.

Yes sir! From wha I hear me and ol Mike have the same taste in knives! He's got to be a fine feller.
Oh, and Victorinox too. I was blissfully ignorant of their greatness then I met you. Now there's a pile of Em here, can't leave home without one.
Thanks Josh! You're a fine feller, I don't care what the rest of the guys say!

Why yes Josh, right you are! Definitely one of my top five pocket knives...! Sees a lot of use in the fall especially, but it's a great knife to tote anytime...
((not my blood on the spey by the way....a fat fox squirrel was the blood donor for that shot

Sure am glad you decided to part ways with that knife Bug, we have definitely formed a bond!
If I recall correctly, I swapped you that ebony 72 for it, no? That one seeing any time in the rotation with you or your boy?

J Man, The handle is a mat black, I guess the glossy red back ground reflection gives it a hint of Blue tint, if that makes any sense?jerryd6818 wrote:Mitch, are the handles on that Voyager a deep blue or is that a bluish shade of purple. Specifications:
Blade: 5 in. , VG-1 Stainless Steel
Handle: 6 1/8 in. , Zytel handle
Overall: 11 1/8 in.
Thick: 9/64 in.
Weight: 5.3oz.
And still somehow pocket friendly

A nod to Tanto Tuesday. Used it to cut tape I was using to keep the Hazmat labels from blowing off the freight.
Today I'll nod to Wharncliffe Wednesday. The clip on this was changed to tip up. It ain't pretty but it works.
The Copperhead, Peanut and Pioneer haven't changed.
Looking for the magic penny!

I'm toting daddy's ol 3 eye Carl Schlieper copperhead. You can see daddy was awful hard with a whet rock. This ol thing ain't seen pocket time in a long time. Still sharp though.

Colonel... Brothers from another mother perhaps! I love that old Ithaca 12 gauge... just a classic shotgun! Pairs up nicely with the rough and rugged Case 6375, perfect combo!
Glenn, I agree wholeheartedly about the deliciousness of a plump fox squirrel... browned off and stewed with some onions and mushrooms... nice little pan gravy, booyah!
(((and to keep on topic of this here thread, I actually did carry this one today!))
