Welcome to AAPK. Sorry I know nothing about your knife, and since no one else has responded I assume they don't either. However someone that does may come along with some information. Meantime recommend you use the "search" function on this forum (it's up there ^ at the top of the page) and do a search for Laguiole. There's a bunch of posts available, so your answer may be there somewhere.

Welcome to AAPK as well.
I know very little about these knives as well. Laguiole is the region in France where knives of the style of yours originated from. The style of the knife is actually called Laguiole and the bee on the spine is very typical. The Laguiole style is made by more than one cutlery company and many custom makers in France. You could try posting it in the "European and other Foreign Manufactured Knives" forum found on AAPK. There are always lot's of these for sale on ebay and you could try doing a completed listings search to find out some idea of value.

I can't enlarge your picture of the mark, but is it a severed pig's head? If so I have an extremely old folder from France with that mark and the word," BARNERIA" next to it.There is a website(unfortunately in French but fairly easy to navigate. There is a huge listing of maker's marks(look at the pics in the little boxes;I think it is the 4th box down). The address is:

Hope this helps.

EDIT:It is the 5th box down. Here is a pic of my knife.I thought I had a pic of just the stamp but can't find it.
