Need ID on this knife please

A couple of observations:
First;is the sheath pictured with the knife the same one as in the closeup of the name? They look like two dinstinctly different sheaths.
I searched the name but came up with nothing.
Just a guess but it looks almost like a Malco Duct Knife that has been ground up and had a wire crossguard attached.Here is a pic of one.

This is very similar to a Herder's Commando knife.

I would have a hard time believing that sheath was made for that knife.
More likely knife7knut was correct and it's a modified duct knife.
That said, I have been known to be wrong. (once! )

Let me play devil's advocate here. I wouldn't think a maker would call his duct knife a COMMANDO and since it is imprinted into both the knife handle and the sheath, I gotta believe it was marketed that way.

Berliner in Seattle Washington also sold straight razors and stops. I think this is a rather obscure WWII era knife of very limited production. Made quite like the Herder Commando knives. The Herder curved single edge looking sheaths also did not conform to the straight double edge blades.
