Nice 83 there Jim!

The 83s, and 80s were some of my favorites when I was collecting vintage Case knives, I sold them all but a few............

Here's 10 dot trapper with original box.

Wow talk about Stag overload   A wonderful way to burn out your retina's..

Jim, Gary and EriKy thanks for the enjoyment of those stagilicious slipjoints..I enjoyed them all but that vintage mint 10 dot trapper with the box fresh off the factory floor is fabulous..

Thanks again,

Ralph

Very nice Eric!

Like Jim, I especially like the S & M. On the one scale you can see sign of natural wear and scarring, very cool!

Thanks Sunburst....................

Here's a Rough Rider fat stag. I bought it before I knew much at all about knives, but it does have a nice handle. I wonder if it would be possible to put the handle on a quality knife?

nice stag on that RR, however it won't fit on a case 54 trapper, the pinholes won't line up :(

Stag

Here's some stag Case's. Two are 1989's, and two are USA's, with 1990 dated on the tang.

Here's a made in Japan Parker. Turned out to be a nicer cheap knife than I expected. I'd put it in my pocket once in awhile, but I'm afraid I'd get funny looks in the grocery store. ::smirk::

Here are some Case 5347 whittlers. They made them on the stockman frame, but they are true split backspring whittlers. One has brass liners, and one has nickel silver.

Here is one I got from the customizer, via ebay. Herman Williams had a long association with Schrade, and he's still at it!
A Schrade Walden, with red stag handles!!

Click on it once or twice to enjoy the stag up close and personal!!
How did I miss that!? That's purty! Looks like he reshaped the squared butt into a round butt. I have thought of doing that more than once, just have never done it ::shrug::

Not that I know of, only the SCC, especially not with the large 136 blade. Regardless he done a very nice job, it is a modification I have been wanting to do to one for a while.
