Camillus SEARS ROEBUCK Sta-Sharp 1930 catalog page & Knife
Just sharing.... yes, I must have too much time on my hands. I Found this well loved Sta Sharp Sears brand knife made by Camillus and couldn't stand the thought of not dating it. I found it first shown in the 1930 Sears Catalog. I looked through all the 1920's. By the way, I'm pretty sure I didn't see ANY reference to Sta-sharp before 1930, despite reports of the brand going back to the early 1920's. May have missed something though. What got me fascinated was the fantastic build quality of the knife. Top notch. It still Has killer snaps and lock up despite the obvious use. Razor sharp as well. Anyway, a steal at $1.59. The 7065 pattern in catalog matches the tang of this knife as well.

Wow that is a fantastic knife, love it!
Great stag, and those milled liners are beautiful! Looks to have a bit of a dog leg shape to it as well.... Where did you find it if you don't mind me asking?
Either way, thanks for sharing!

This one was from my local antique dealer. He doesn't like to dig too deep into the knives which is nice for those of us who do. He just assumed it as a generic brand. I hit a lot of antique and pawn shops. Thanks

Wonderful old knife! All the sta-sharp knives I've had or handled have been top notch in every way.

Here's mine from that page. This one is marked Sta-Sharp/S.R.& Co. Not too sure it's a Camillus made knife however.
Edit: forgot to mention, it's stamped 7071 on the back of the tang.
