Flylock Switch Blade (RE post with pictures

The knife is 3.5" closed. The blades are 1.5" & 2"long. The case is black and could be bone or similar material. The blades look like stainless steel, but I question that since there is some stain or tarnish on each surface of the large blade & a slight amount of rust on the top edge of each blade. One side of the large blade shows marks as though it was polished during manufacture. No such marks are visible on the small blade.

Any information you can provide, especially current price, is appreciated. Wherte is the best place to offer the knife for sale?

Goins' book dates your knife 1923 to 1928. It looks to be in excellent condition with nice full blades. The rough black composition type handles on your knife look to be in good shape but will not command a premium as far as I know.

eBay is likely to find and terminate an auction if the knot heads there determine your knife is an illegal switchblade knife. That said a number of eBay auctions for this type of knife do complete. Bear in mind that shipping a switchblade knife across State lines is now and has been since 1957, a violation of Federal law.

If that has changed, I missed it, but then I do not have anything to do with switchblades as a general rule.
