Is that glue on the shield? Wouldn't a true Tested era shield be pinned?
I'm no expert, just tryin' to learn how to read one.

No Expert either but the shield is not a tested shield and the bone looks newer also.

I would say new production bone put on an older tested knife, hence the non pinned shield and funny looking color and jig pattern. Handles are much too clean and jigging is too sharp compared to the wear on the blades.
