Flylock Switch blade knife question

I am in possession of a Flylock two blade switch knife that I need help in identifying. I know little about knives other than they can cut you, so please excuse my terminology in my description.

The knife is 3.5" closed. The blades are 1.5" & 2"long. The case is black and could be bone or similar material. There are three small rivets or pins (one on each end & one on the top center) holding every together. The blades look like stainless steel, but I question that since there is some stain or tarnish on each surface of the large blade & a slight amount of rust on the top edge of each blade. One side of the large blade shows marks as though it was polished during manufacture. No such marks are visible on the small blade.

The end of the large blade closest to the knife enclosure has the following etchings: Side 1 "Flylock REC US PAT OFF"; Side 2 "THE FLYLOCK KNIFE CO. B'PORT CONN".The small blade has the following: Side 1 "US Pat MARCH 5, 1918" Side 2 " REG (not legible) US PAT 3,5.18

I need model, mfg year, market value & any other such info.

Your knife was made between 1918 and 1928. Without a picture to determine condition it would not be fair to try and estimate a value but if in good working condition the knife would be quite collectible.

Maybe one of our auto experts can give some better info but as they say a picture is worth a thousand words.

Yeah, I noticed by the blade length that we were talking about different models, but I thought it might give you an idea as to their collectability. I thought it was interesting how the rules against switchblades that ebay has can be side-stepped so easily just by changing a few words that most collectors know without much thought. It's all in how your word your search. Fun games.

Your knife is in very good condition from what I see . The handles with the tipped ends are a bit more sought and definitely collectable . This one is on a pop auction site and is at 80 dollars , yours looks better .
